Curtis Forrester

Curtis has been a follower of Christ now since 1991, where he bumped into Jesus while living and working in California. Me and BlakeHe was an Atheist, agnostic, new-ager, whatever and fortunately God sorted it all out. He was trained in the Ministry and worked briefly as a youth pastor in Gentry, AR and as a transitional pastor of Shreveport South Church in Shreveport, LA while their excellent pastor completed his Seminary studies. Currently we attend North Point Community Church and have grown tremendously in that environment.

Libby Riano Forrester

For those of you who know Libby anything that I say will fall short of fully capturing the spark of life that she brings to any conversation, event, or even passing. (My first memory of her was at Southern where she knew, like, everyone.)

Libby is now the proud mother of who we’re sure is the cutest, smartest, (etc, etc) little boy in the world. LibbyWhen she’s not fielding questions from him like, “Why did God made us?” (Answer: “Ask your father.”) she spends her time researching and experimenting with “Raw Gourmet”, and helping the other Mom’s she comes in contact with create that special blend of nuts, herbs, and other stuffs to create the perfect pate. “Hey, Honey – try this…” (If I had a dime for every time I’ve heard that question!)

About our Church Affiliation

Libby and I are now attending Northpoint Community Church. Though I was a licensed Seventh-day Adventist minister, I found that I did not agree with some key issues. Over time I became convinced that these issues were critical, and that the Adventist church had not historically nor currently answered the questions to my satisfaction. I left the ministry in good standing and let my credentials expire. We are no longer attending an Adventist church, though we maintain our many friendships.
